Teign Tech provides a simple local collection service for households in the Teignmouth area, with secure handling of data-bearing devices included as standard.

Many people hold onto old phones, laptops and hard drives because they are unsure what happens to the data inside them.
We do not access personal data.
Data-bearing devices are securely wiped or physically destroyed as required. Up to 3 physical data destructions are included with a standard household collection, with photographic evidence available on request.
Small Local Collections
Our household collection service is designed for small clear-outs and unwanted tech stored around the home.
We can collect:
- Phones and tablets
- Computers, laptops and consoles
- Hard drives and storage devices
- Monitors and screens
- Extensions, cables, chargers and accessories
- Small kitchen appliances
- Garden tools
- General household electrical items
- Mixed small electricals up to around microwave size
This service is based on one of our 150L collection containers.
Simple Collection Fee
Standard household collections are charged at £5 within the local collection area.
This includes:
- Doorstep collection
- Secure data wiping where applicable
- Up to 3 physical data destructions
- Optional photographic evidence
- Responsible handling of electrical items
How It Works
1. Tell us what you have
Submit a short collection request and let us know what items you would like collected.
2. We schedule locally
Collections are planned around local routes and availability. If you choose a booked slot, you can select a specific collection window.
3. We collect from your doorstep
Items are collected from your door using our 150L container.
4. We handle the rest
Items are processed responsibly, with secure data handling for data-bearing devices.

Household collections are primarily available in Teignmouth and TQ14.
