Small Tech & Electrical Collection
Teign Tech provides small local collections for unwanted electricals, electronics, and data-bearing devices.
This service is designed for households and small local clear-outs where you have a modest amount of old tech or electrical items to dispose of safely.
Collections are charged at a simple £5 collection fee and are based on one of our 150L collection containers.
Safe Disposal of Old Tech
Many households keep old laptops, phones, tablets, hard drives, cables, and other devices because they are unsure what to do with them or are concerned about personal data.
Teign Tech provides a straightforward local collection service, with secure handling of data-bearing devices included as standard.
Data is not accessed. Devices are wiped or physically destroyed as required.
Each collection includes up to 3 physical data destruction items at no additional cost. Photo evidence of destruction is available on request.
What This Service Is For
This service is suitable for small local collections such as:
- Old laptops, phones, tablets, and hard drives
- Cables, chargers, plugs, and accessories
- Small household electricals
- Broken or unwanted electronics
- Small cupboards, drawers, or box clear-outs
- Mixed electrical items up to around microwave size

How It Works
1. Tell us what you have
Complete the short form below with your items, address, and preferred collection days or times.
2. We schedule locally
Collections are planned around local routes and availability. We will email you the evening before collection with an approximate arrival time.
3. We collect from your doorstep
Items are collected using our 150L container and then handled responsibly.
Payment
The collection fee is £5.
You can pay on collection. Card is preferred, but cash is also accepted.
Priority Booking Option
If you would prefer to choose a specific collection window, you can book and pay online after submitting the form.
Booked slots help us plan efficiently and are prioritised in our schedule.
